Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There is some terrific rock step and waterbar work on this trail, which makes it drain quickly.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: You bet! Four-legged friends, you're supposed to act like you're under the control of your two-legged friends at all times. We saw none of the former, many of the latter.

Comments
Comments: Our original plan for a Mt. Mansfield hike was thwarted by conditions of zero visibility and thunderstorms on the way. Our consolation prize was this nice, short (+/- 1 mile RT), swim-worthy, geologically interesting hike find. It would also be a great place to cool off after an east side of Mansfield hike.
