 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Drove past the Town Forest Parking Lot (left fork entering the parking lot) to the gate at the start of the road into Beaver Meadows. It’s mostly a single width woods road that a 4WD/AWD with okay ground clearance can navigate. It saves about a 1/2 mile of extra road walking each way. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
It’s been dry lately. Stream levels are low. The one main stream crossing heading from the road to the Beaver Meadow Lodge/Chilcoot Trail is very rock hop-able but the exposed rocks are VERY slippery. Use poles if you have them. |

 | Comments: |
After a bit of light showers overnight, rocks were very slippery today. However, a great early November day. Saw nobody today. Smuggs was running the M1 lift so seems they’re checking it’s in running condition. No snow though seen with such recent warm weather. Thanksgiving opening may be a tough ask. |
