 | Comments: |
Blue sky day. Few skiers walking/skinning up on Spruce side (many on Mansfield side). Just a bit soggy for first half, then increasing wet snow to a depth of 12+" at top of lift/ski area. Snowshoes (Tubbs ALP) very helpful to stay up and add traction.
Kestrel data: T=57F W,max=7.4mph WC, min=39F. A long sleeve T, hat, glacier glasses only requirements today, including very fine time spend at top in full sunshine. [Reserve comment on "wretched excess" at the base.] |
