I had planned an out and back to get 4 peaks over 3,000’ on the Skyline trail but turned around after Putnam. I was solo and had a late start and my speed was very slow on the ridge due to the mud and the PUDs. It had rained recently and rain was coming, plus it was very cool and breezy up there. Hunger and White Rock were worth the trip anyway for the fine views. It was a little busy on Hunger for a Monday I thought. Some more folks were heading up around 6:30 pm. I will probably come back for Worcester from the North unless I can get a car spot. |
