At 9:30 am the parking lots were full. I found a spot on the side of the road. |

There was one avoidable blowdown. It looks as if there were others and they were recently cut. Thank you Green Mtn Club. |

There were many dogs, the majority were leashed. All were friendly. |

The black flies were around at Spruce Peak summit when I decided to have a snack. Otherwise no bugs on the trail. |

It was a beautiful day,76 degrees and sunny and dry. There was quite a few wet spots and running water on the trail. I believe it was caused buy some heavy thunderstorms on the previous night. Lots of people, but you're in Stowe on a weekend. |
