Two down low, both easily hopped. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are two blowdowns on the latter half of the 3.8-mile approach to Stratton. One is a single trunk, about 10 inches in diameter. The other is a tangle of branches that require you to go up and under. |

They're starting to pester, but this was a windy day so they stayed away for 99 percent of the time. |

As always, the Long Trail is a delight. And the summit of Stratton, with its fire tower, is a worthy destination. Also liked going the extra .75 miles to North Stratton where you can take in expansive views from several different points atop the ski slopes. |
