 | Comments: |
The route to Lye Brook Falls is now 100% free of snow and ice. Some mud and standing/running water around the midway point, but conditions were otherwise dry. The waterfall itself was spectacular and always worth a visit this time of year.
NOTE: Lye Brook Falls is mainly fed by spring snowmelt, and with a good chunk of the snow at elevations above it already gone, the window to see it in its proper glory is winding down, and once all the snow is gone, the fall will basically be a trickle unless there's a long stretch of heavy rain. |
