Carried snow shoes but snow was very solid from start to finish. Never put shoes on as the trail is fairly choppy and my spikes were not postholing or churning trail at all. Ledges were mostly snow free and I bare booted several sections, spikes on/spikes off a few times. Surprisingly good snow today as compared
To my hike on Wildcats yesterday that was a trail churning disaster |
