Comments
Comments: This hike was started early. The parking lot temperature was 1 degree according to my car though garmin indicated it was -6. I hadnt planned on posting about this hike due to how i felt about it in general. From Duxbury window trail i made an attempt to summit Camel's Hump via the Long Trail. After making it over the wall of thieves it was clear that the drifting had erased any trace of people that may have gone through the area. There was one set of tracks that looked very old. I decided to turn around after navigating through the drifts for about ten minutes.

I made it back to the car & drove further up the road to use the Monroe trail. This trail was well broken out & direct. The whole day i felt off but made it to the summit in good order. The snow quality was packed powder. It was just enough snow to almost need snowshoes but they were overkill so you got the lovely sinking in an inch each step. Regardless another winter 4k footer.
