Comments
Comments: We have decided to expand our horizons by venturing outside the Granite State. Monroe trail was quite lovely and equally easy. Was expecting more difficulty on the alpine and long trails near the top but those were pretty simple as well. I guess compared to NH,Vermont peaks just seem a bit mellow. Checked out a huge chunk of the B-24 Bomber crash just off the alpine trail-pretty cool. Views were spectacular. I feel like the reds never showed up this year-just rusty browns, and most of the bright yellows have dropped. Foliage is pretty meh this year compared to most, but still a treat to witness on a gorgeous, sunny, crisp, cool day.
