One larger stream early after Forester's & Frank Post split where the trail down to the water is washed out. Fine in low water, probably not fun in spring |

Thoroughly enjoyed this loop, at just under 8 miles and 2000 gain I didn't find it hard but got a big mountain feel. all the trails were gorgeous and well marked. Firetower sways a bit but plenty stable. Will note that there is almost no tenting room at Tillotson and shelter only fits 8. There are some stealth sites further down Frank Post but at that point just hit the car... |
