Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked at beach parking lot. Little snow and mud present. Access off Rte 12 still open (Dec. 12th probably closed) but requires good traction to drive to the upper parking lot.

Trail Maintenance Notes: One new blowdown (branch about eye level) hopefully be removed tommorow.

Comments
Comments: Beautiful sunset from tower; followed by nice fading daylight and bright moon for an enjoyable trip down without needing headlamp. 1-3" of snow throughout with soft trail in many sections. Used microspikes to speed things up but 3 out of 4 hikers met were barebooting. Ice not noticeable under snow.
