| Comments: |
Summit in the clear w/undercast, only Mt. Ethan Allen visible. Temp 27F, no wind.
While the trail was packed today, visiting White Mountain hikers should be aware that trails in the Greens are infrequently broken out, even on the more popular peaks. I met some folks from Franconia without snowshoes who got lucky today. This area is also popular with ski mountaineers, so an un- postholed trail is key to safety. GREAT START TO THE YEAR !!!
