| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Hiked up a ways with a couple park employees seeking out recent blow down damage to report to Forest Service. Told them I'd scout the loop and will give them a written report tomorrow. Great to have this local park which receives much trail work help from VYCC, GMC, state crews and others. |

| Lost and Found: |
We've all had sentimental hiking items at one time or another. Found a hat; which to most would have been long gone in garbage; but seems to me anyone carrying this hat must value it. Been there, done that. Anyway I left it at sign in box at upper lot and let staff know about it at contact station. Hopefully a reunion occurs. |

| Comments: |
Cold, slightly wet day on the trails. Few hikers out; mostly campers figuring hiking was preferable to a swim today. Trail drier than anticipated with the recent rains. |
