Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All minor or bridged. Winooski River along River Road and brook along Camel's Hump Road are as low as I've seen them.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Looks like recent water drainage work on Monroe Tr.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Wow; I don't believe I saw one today. LT from Dean Tr. jct. to summit may be too much for some dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: None; possibly due to winds.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Pair of shoes left in upper lot; looked like childrens.

Comments
Comments: Forecast for rain staying north was off. Rain changed the dry trails to start into slippery rocks, roots etc.. Had to crouch down a few times on the south side of summit due to wind gusts. Once on north side winds were much lower. No views on top, limited ones down lower. Summit to myself for the few seconds I was up there. Memorable day for 1000th 4K today but was quite a challenge at times. This is most enjoyable route here in my opinion (Monroe to Dean to Long Tr. and Monroe down) although the slick rocks and lack of views took away from it today.
