Hillsounds in the cold morning up Lincoln Gap Rd and on LT to Abe. Well-packed north of Battell Trail to Abe's summit. Snowshoes needed on the LT north of Abe. We made it as far as Little Abe, but not even to Lincoln, Nancy, or Ellen. Slow to duck thru the overhanging branches and not yet fully -packed.
Softening in afternoon, so snowshoes back to Lincoln Gap Rd. |
