Adding to ECG's suggestions from their 4-24 report. Light traction advisable (traction not overkill for short tower section). I used microspikes from old cabin clearing until 2/3rds way down Ridge Tr.. Lots with only sneakers and unfortunately Elmore Fire Dept. got called out for an incident (believe it was a leg injury from slippery trail). Wet forecast will lessen the numbers hiking for the upcoming week. |
