Comments
Comments: Gorgeous morning loop hike going up Stowe Pinnacle Tr. and down the Pinnacle Meadows Tr. and Pinnacle Road. Brought light traction but never needed it surprisingly. Slickest part was coming down road. Possibly the best views I've had up here throughout many hikes. ADK,s visible from top. Great view of Mansfield area from top of road section of Pinnacle Meadows Tr. but the view from the vista spur trail on Stowe Pinnacle Tr. is growing in. Trails all solidly frozen on this cool morning but recent snow helped with traction over potential ice.
