| Comments: |
April in Vermont is still winter in the mountains. Several feet of snow most of the way up the mountain. Lots of ice on the steep parts. We wore microspikes the whole way. The monorail at lower elevations was firm because of cold temperatures, but this will change quickly with warm-up. Great 360 degree views from the fire tower. Lovely hike for social distancing...no one else on the trail. |
