|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Trail not maintained. Significant blow down throughout and many precarious partly fallen trees. Well marked but not well traveled. Many spots of standing and running water. Glare ice towards the top. |
|Lost and Found:
||It was very muddy and snowy and the trail was littered with fallen branches and trees. We did it in trail runners (I was overly optimistic about the condition the trail would be in) and were fine up to the first 2 miles or so. Waterproof boots and spikes would have improved the hike immensely. |
You can take the auto road down from the summit if you want which was a pleasant surprise.
