| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape. Mud is limited below the snow line. Snow above 2,800 ft or so. Spikes were fine, but snowshoes would've worked better. Very soft snow at the top, though trail is well packed. |

| Comments: |
Solid and steep. Trail is wide and fairly eroded, but mostly dry up until the junction for the spring. Above the spring, the trail has a stable monorail of ice that pretty quickly becomes packed snow. Traction would be helpful but I had several in my party that toughed it out bareboot. Snowshoes would be best. |
