Parking/Access Road Notes: Both lots very dry. Pinnacle and Pinnacle Meadows roads both recently graded and in better shape than most of our paved roads in Vt.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: All very minor stepovers and 1 rock hoppable

Trail Maintenance Notes: 2 blowdowns requiring chainsaw about 1/2 mile from top easily stepped over

Dog-Related Notes: A few dogs seen. Water available all the way today and on lower half during dry season.

Bugs: Few flying around. None biting yet.

Comments: Trails not posted. A few short wet sections where one can easily avoid trail damage by "walk the rock" techniques. Pinnacle Meadows trailhead info most likely not in any guide books. Sign at main parking lot will direct you to this lot. Trails a lot drier than expected.
