CCC Road-hard packed-I used spikes
Eagle Cut Trail-Hard packed-I used spikes
Sunset Ridge Trail: The lower part of the trail is hard packed with lots of deep frozen postholes. Once above tree line say 3600ft things changed quickly. The reason for this report. After the last few very warm days, I`m sure there was a lot of bare rock slabs. Well it rained last night and now there is a 1/16 of an inch of black ice on every step you will take. Whether on rock or snow, it was dangerous. Being in a cloud didn`t help the situation as well. Climb this section with caution folks.-I used spikes.
In addition I also hiked Camel`s Hump. Burrows trail was a packed race track. No worries!! |
