Comments
Comments: Led this one for the Random Group of Hikers. The forecast was cold and wind but it never got as cold or windy as the forecast. Put the spikes on pretty early and kept them on until near the end. There were only a few spots where there was ice, the rest of the way up to Abraham was well packed. The section between the summits has seen far less traffic and most of it was unpacked. The depths weren’t that much so even though snowshoes could have been used they were not required. The deepest parts were near the sections around the ski trails. The entry points into the woods from the ski trails seems to be better marked than in the past.
