About a mile from the trailhead, there is a massive washout that was not passable by car. The ruts made from the large rainstorms this week did some damage. Did not add much time to the hike, however less room for parking. |

Ice starting to form on the exposed rock section of Sunset Ridge, however it was spotty enough that microspikes could be avoided throughout the entire thing. All of the ice was pretty much in direct sun making it melt throughout the day as well. No snow yet either. |
