Elmore State Park entrance closed/not plowed. Plowed lot just off Beach Road. Road well packed from there to summer lot. |

Chainsaw blowdown just as trail hops off road/Catamount Trail into woods. |

A few flying around, confused by all of the snow, but not biting. |

Trail well packed for booting. Microspikes seemed perfect this afternoon. Still 2-4 feet of snowpack. Steep area above the old fire warden's cabin was passable with Microspikes, but could be problematic soon, as it appears there is a bunch of blue ice not too far under the snowpack at this no fall zone (big cliff drop off). |
