| Comments: |
The mountain got some snow monday, from a few inches at the start to several up high. Used snowshoes car to car. Only myself and a delightful couple from Northern Ireland have put tracks up and snowshoes are currently neccesary all the way. Plenty of snowy branches on the upper mountain, no other trails broken since the storm - including Burrows, the most popular way. - Dean trail is broken for snowshoes to Montclair Glen. Summit was one of the few not fogged in, temp 24F light wind, ate lunch alone on the top. 7.6 miles R.T. from winter parking |
