Comments
Comments: First mile-mostly dry, some water, very little mud
Second mile - mostly wet, but very little mud, patches of snow
Third mile - about 1/3 still covered with deep snow (up to 2.5 feet). I brought snow shoes and was glad to have them. Other hikers made it without them, but the deep sinking into snow slows your progress. Probably won't need them by next weekend, but bring long pant, the snow is very sharp.
Top is clear of snow
