| Comments: |
We walked the road for what we guessed was a bit over a mile and bushwhacked Wolf Hill from the northeast. Woods were mainly open. Snow coverage was complete for this bushwhack. At times the snow was mainly supportive and at other times it was mushy/wet spring snow that had us sinking. The highpoint is recognized. We returned to the road and followed it to the 4wd road that crosses the south end of the sable ridge. We followed the road to the east side of the ridge and bushwhacked up. We hit some tighter woods, but nothing too bad. Snow was more of the same until we got to the cone were there were significant bare sections. We noted evidence of multiple cut paths. The highpoint is recognized. We returned by bushwhacking west off of the ridge. |
