Comments
Comments: brilliant sunny day-sunglasses needed! views very fine, although hazy enough to obscure 'Dacks and Whites. excellent day to be Out. trail is fairly solid, but heavily pock marked by postholes from 1/2 foot to 2 feet, as well as few to thigh depth, no doubt from hikers on warm days without snowshoes; vigilant step placement is necessary to avoid ankle sprains or worse. solid surface was softening by early afternoon in sun nearing parking lot; all this no doubt will change with coming weather.
