| Comments: |
Frost, Maple Ridge, and Wampahoofus were mostly untracked/unpacked. The trail varied from bare rock to five foot drifts. Butler lodge trail is well packed but snowshoes are still needed to avoid postholing. Navigation was challenging as many trail markers are buried. The sign at the top of Wampahoofus is under at least a few feet of snow. The trail above treeline required crampons and ice axe for safe travel. |
