Periodic update of Elmore. Unfortunately someone went half way up on 2-18 and beat up the trail quite badly. They even had snowshoes on. Anyway lower half of trail has several booby traps filled in with new drifted powder. I smoothed out upper half; so thats nice; but lower part that was beat up Friday may be like this for a while. Beware ankles if barebooting. Very narrow path nicely hard packed if you can see it under blown snow cover. |
