Went up for sunrise Sunday. trail was bootable until the 2nd bridge, then spikes to the cabin. I always put on crampons and bring my axe for the last .2 miles to the summit - mostly just for fun, but it makes it a lot safer as well. The icy last 200ft was covered in more packed snow than normal, so spikes may have been enough (at your own risk). |
