| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in great shape, though quite wet in the woods after recent rain. Caution required on slabs in the woods. Mostly dry enough above the trees |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of dogs and trail seemed fine for them. There are a couple of scrambly sections up high, but nothing you could not boost a small dog over. Footing generally good with slab and rock stairs rather than boulders. |
|
| Bugs: |
Black flies quite annoying late in the day in the woods. |

| Comments: |
Beautiful approach to Mansfield and my first time from this side. Lots of time above trees with mostly good footing, a couple of little scrambles up high but generally not too steep. Wet enough in the woods to be slippery in places. Trail is well maintained without current blowdowns. |
