After my failed Mendon attempt was questioning myself here. Read trail report from 6/2..fantastic. Maybe its was just me but this place gave me the creeps. Absolutely no animals out...too quiet. Weird quite, did see 1 rather large pile of bear scat. Felt like I was being watched the whole time...bizarre. No views at North summit, nice view at the South but had a bad vibe...anyone else ever experience this? Up & down in 2:55 won't be back...weird place. |
