I will be the 1st to admit my compass/map skills aren't the best. I read what I could find online & felt confident I could find my way...not. Made it until the 1st river crossing (I think) then I completely lost the trail. I went up/down the river could not find the trail. I retraced my steps & still couldn't find it....my bad. Saw several reports & no one else seemed to have any problem. Would rather lose it early than get myself in a bad situation. Will be back in the fall when the leaves have died off to try again. |
