Beautiful loop. Trails in good shape. One overgrown section north of Old job shelter, trail is easy enough to follow - just know you'll be pushing through bushes. Baker Peak trail was very enjoyable. The trailhead for old job trail (to the north) was relocated up the road a bit - this happened after hurricane Irene- maybe time for me to get a new guidebook! Lots of AT and LT hikers coming through - I was handing out devil dogs....until I ran out! |
