Peaks Camel's Hump, VT

Trails: Monroe Trail, Dean Trail, Long Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Saturday, July 29, 2017
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked in the winter lot with my 10:00 arrival only to find several open spots in the 2 lots near trailhead. Lower lot has 4 portapotties which I would imagine caretakers prefer one using over their composting privy at start of trail. Upper lots appeared to never have filled up surprisingly.

Comments
Comments: Anyone who enjoys open hiking with views I recommend including the LT in with your hike as a loop. Other side one can use Burrows/Forest City trails to make a loop. Fairly dry except for upper part of Monroe which had plentiful water flowing across or on trail at times. Many out taking advantage of a beautiful hiking day; seemed like lots more traffic on Burrows side.
