Comments
Comments: Monroe, Dean, Long Trail, bad wx cutoff

The trail was not as muddy as I expected. Despite recent rain, the upper ledges were pretty dry too. Went down the bad weather cutoff since much of the steeps on the LT were borderline rock climbing scrambled. A few wet spots and slides I did not want to come down on. Got to see the plane crash instead on the way down. Tent sites are well maintained with a bear box, 5 platforms, nearby water and even a picnic table. Nice setup!
