Most of the way up went bare booted, donned the microspikes for a couple long patches of ice but overall barebootable. Atop Stark looking down Long Trail south there is still lots of snow covering the trail. It started snowing quite heavily while I was up there, put on my extra layers in Starks Nest warming hut, and decended in a real snow storm. By the time I got to Midway the snow stopped and visibility was good. The long Trail still |
