We encountered unexpectedly difficult water crossings as the old lumber road kept criss-crossing the swollen creek. On the way down we opted to bushwhack to avoid two pairs of bad crossings. |

The old lumber road is badly deteriorated to the point where we found it sometimes easier to bushwhack through the woods. |
