Second Hike. Stopped at McD's in Randolph and got breakfast. 2 hours to TH. Lot's of folks with dogs, spandex and puffy jackets but very few with micros. Lots of ice from where the trees go more spruce and you hit the slabs. Wore hillsounds up and back through those areas to the top. I try not to be a buzz kill but it's not far to make first responders have to get your broken leg or butt out of some place. The other thing that was interesting is that many folks seemed to be ignorant of the fact that dark happens. Lots of people starting out at 1pm. |
