	Date of Hike:	Saturday, October 15, 2016

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	Minimal parking at Cloudland Rd. You can maybe fit 2 cars.

	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

	Recommended Equipment:

	Water Crossing Notes:	There is water at Thistle Hill Shelter only.

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	this section is in great shape.

	Dog-Related Notes:	Isis had a blast running the trails today.

	Bugs:	I inhaled one.. Shocking!

	Lost and Found:	Nothing lost or Found.


	Comments:	I was originally packed for an over night at the Look Out, but those plans fell through. I tightened up miles on the AT from Cloudland Rd to Joe Ranger Rd. It's a quick day so, I didn't feel like sitting around at Thistle Hill Shelter. Too chilly to stay still! At least I got out and gave Isis a good work out and got some dirt under my boots. The Privy at Thistle Hill is a sight to see.
