I grabbed my last Vermont 4000 Footer today and Pico to boot. I left Maine at 3:30am and arrived at 7:00am. I had the Sherburne Trail mostly to myself, I only saw one solo hiker and a pair of trail runners. Once I got to Pico Shelter and returned from the peak I started to see more people. The LT/AT had plenty of through hikers and Killington Peak was crowded despite the clouds. I returned the same way and was back to my car at 1:30pm to make the 3.5 hour drive again. The things you do for peakbagging. I'll have a trip report, photos and a video up on the blog eventually. |
