Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All bridged on this loop
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of broken planks north of the Nose area that I'm sure will be replaced soon. Some nice new signs. Sunset Ridge Tr. has had lots of excellent trail work done to the lower sections. A trail you have to hike to really appreciate it. Thanks GMC!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Several out today. Water scarce on much of this loop. A few spots on Maple Ridge where you may need to help your pup.
Bugs
Bugs: Few flies but not bad at all.

Comments
Comments: A few wet or muddy areas but overall trails very dry. My favorite route is going up Maple Ridge and down Sunset Ridge as grades are a little easier on Sunset Ridge. Maple Ridge can be tough if wet. A few spots on Maple Ridge have always been a challenge for me and getting through them is satisfying to know I've done them for another year. There is a bypass on the ledge but a fairly long leap is required at another spot up higher. Crowded but not as bad as expected. Little warm on a near perfect day!
