Got to the Lincoln Gap parking area at 8am. Only 1 other car there. When we got back to the car around 3:30pm, there were probably about 12 cars or so. |

The trail was in awesome shape today. Thank you to the GMC for keeping the LT so awesome in this section. |

My 30# dog loves this hike. She had no issues with any of the rock scrambles and actually did much better than I did on the way up Abe :) We saw 1 other larger dog on the trail. |

Amazingly enough they weren't bad. Black flies did take advantage if you stood still too long but I think the worst case of bugs was back at the trailhead. |

What a gorgeous day! Insane views and a great trail. My pup and I really had a blast hiking from Lincoln Gap to Mount Ellen and back again. |
