Dixie had an easy time. Plenty of water between streams and springs. There was a sign warning about porcupines in the area causing issues with dogs. Suggested that you keep dogs leashed. I just kept her close off leash. |

Swarmed a bit when I stopped to remove blowdown. Nothing really bit though |

 | Comments: |
Beautiful day for a hike. Had the summit to ourselves for about an hour while I cooked lunch. Saw an AT hiker on the way off the peak.
Trail was in great condition. First two miles relatively flat. Not too steep after that until you hit the spur trail.
No ice, no snow, trail was only wet in a few places with avoidable mud. |
