Gorgeous day for a hike. Misty at 9:50 start time, but clouds opened up beforehand I got to the summit. Ice on upper portion of Monroe past Alpine Trail split. Threw on microspikes just in case. Also ice on LT north of summit. Checked out plane remains off of the Alpine Trail. Easy hike out for the most part. Few patches of slippery rock, so take ur time. 3 and a half hours with pics and lunch. |
