A great early spring stroll along the West River from Jamaica SP to Ball Mountain Dam and back. A bit chilly in the shade with the cool breeze but climbing the dam warmed me up quick. Very dry considering springtime in Vermont is normally referred to as "mud season." It was my first visit to Jamaica SP and I really liked its off-the-beaten-path vibe. I had my car GPS and I almost drove right passed the park entrance. I highly recommend it. Although, I can imagine in summertime it might be a bit crowded.
