Met Jewell. Only one place for a sip & dip about 2 miles from trail head. |

Black flies were brutal... Stashing the crampons & bringing bug juice on next hike. |

Trail is in excellent shape. Few patches of ice around 3700 feet.
Easily walked around.
BEAUTIFUL blue bird day but a bit too hot for this time of year.
